It is gone. I installed it in a tree this time. It was beautiful and already catching everyone's attention as they walked by. I went to spend more time with it and collect observation data this morning and it was gone. Only some string left in the tree bark. I immediately went to facilities to let them know what happened, explain my project. Disbatch said no one had seen it or had taken it down. They let me know nothing is allowed to be in the trees on campus anyways, but they would contact me if they found it. I biked around campus for an hour looking for it. Then drove around Fort Collins looking for it. When I realized someone most likely stole it. There was string still in the tree and the way I installed it could not have possibly been blown away by the wind. Highly unlikely, still a possibility. So, I contacted a couple well followed CSU IG accounts to see if they could post a missing flyer on their social media about my piece. Have people DM me if they know where it is or see it. I received no messages or calls about it today. Maybe tomorrow...
