Please recall one of your past research/essays/artworks (it can be the research you shared above).
Sexual Abuse Performance.
Did you apply any of the principles that Duncum mentions in the article?
Multimodality, power, ideology, looking to the future, gaze.
Which one? Please briefly state how this or those principles you are applied in the research/essays/artworks.
I took a few different cement and foam sculptures I had made in attempts to work through my sexual abuse experience. The process of making those pieces didn't give me the reconciliation or relief I thought they would. So, I recorded myself breaking and destroying those pieces. Then edited an audio on top of the clips of me breaking my sculptures that consisted of me describing my perspective of my sexual abusive relationship and a few panics attacks.
If you did not apply any of Duncum's principles in any of your past research/essays/artworks, please find one past research/essays/artworks and try to use one of the principles to re-look at one of your past research/essays/artworks again.
